Online exam
Online exams are now a norm in education. The pandemic pushed the entire world to adapt to a new form of learning and living. The enforcement of nationwide lockdowns led to the closure of many establishments, including educational institutions. Lessons went from the physical classrooms to the virtual screen. Because of the pandemic, a new mass examination system was also introduced in the form of online exams. There are many debates around the validity of this form of an exam.

Offline exam
Some may assume that an offline exam means that the assessment is done only by pen and paper. And that’s not wrong at all. However, offline exams don’t have to be only paper-based. They can still be done in a computer lab, for example, where there is no Internet access, but there is a local network available. An offline exam means an exam that can either be administered paper-based or offline using examination software systems.
